CHEERS project attended to OLEAF4VALUE’s Final Event at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. The event held on May 29th was a great opportunity to discover more about different EU projects and spread the goals of the project to a great audience.

The event

Silvia Bolado from the Institute of Sustainable Processes of the University of Valladolid was the responsible to carry out the presentation of CHEERS project. After that, she had the chance to be part of a panel discussion about challenges, difficulties, and opportunities in biorefinery markets moderated by Innovarum. Sophie Mason (NNFCC), Anne Christine S. Hastrup (Danish Technological Institute) and Johann Ramirez (Zer0-e Engineering) closed this interesting panel where they had the opportunity to share their knowledge and experiences on this field.

 

About OLEAF4VALUE

The OLEAF4VALUE project aims to develop an entirely new valorization system for the olive leaf based on the assessed feedstock characteristics and its quality, forecasted biomass availability and well-defined industrial demand combined with innovative technical solutions for bio-based biomass preprocessing. The overall concept of OLEAF4VALUE is setting up a new Smart biorefinery devoted to the full valorization of the olive leaf.
